2009 All-America Selections Flower Display Garden
We are especially pleased and thankful this year once again for many new “specialty annuals” (those generally grown from cuttings and not seeds) provided by two wholesale greenhouse propagators in New Hampshire—Pleasant View Gardens (PVG) and DS Cole Growers (DSC). The PVG annuals are from their Proven Winners and Proven Selections series. Those from DSC are from several other brand name series. Others from seed are from the All-America Selections (AAS) with winners denoted by year, Burpee (B), Thompson and Morgan (TM), Parks (P). More can be found online about the All-America Selections program (www.all-americaselections.org). This garden was a national award winner in 2008 among AAS display gardens.
